Jill Cattano - Loan Officer
Let me help you navigate your way to Homeownership!
I believe in thinking differently, in making sure you are seen as a real person and not just the numbers that make up your loan application. I don’t do cookie cutter lending, I help you navigate the happy times of a 1st home purchase, the heartbreak of divorce, and the layers of real estate investing, it’s about you. Just like every person is unique, I have found that every person’s financial circumstances can be unique and it’s my job to help tell your story. Loan guidelines want to stuff everyone in a box and my job is to help draw the picture and connect the dots so that I can show how you too will either fit in the box or why the box needs to get a little bigger. After 15 years in the mortgage industry, I have worked as an originator and in the secondary market, and my experience has helped me gain a well rounded and sensitive understanding of the people that drive the market. I may even be considered an expert in loan programs and guidelines after having worked with Fannie & Freddie helping to structure term of business guidelines for modification programs and managing the boarding of portfolios of 12,000 plus loans in default for servicing…but at the heart of my work is my purpose and that is the people that I serve, my buyers and agents. I serve on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the VAREP (Veterans Association of Real Estate professionals) Treasure Valley Chapter a national organization whose mission is to increase sustainable homeownership, financial-literacy education, VA loan awareness, and economic opportunity for the active-military and veteran communities, because both my grandfathers served in the military and I have found that an alarming number of our military are not fully aware of or utilizing the benefits available to them and I can help change that. As an experienced investor and business owner myself, I have a passion for helping other investors, especially new investors, take advantage of the many financing options available in the residential and commercial lending arena, so I do have a focus in this area and many of my clients and I have structured plans that are mapped out over the next few years to achieve their goals. I learned the value of setting goals and working hard from both my father, who taught me to dream big and my husband of 25 years, who is a business owner and has been in the building and real estate industry for 30 years. I have been blessed with 2 amazing children a 14-year-old son who is a bit of a science and math genius determined to be a mechanical engineer and a 20-year-old daughter working on her nursing degree that just happens to be an accomplished competitive figure skater, coach and hockey coach. However, the very most important thing you need to know about me is that I am the very biggest NHL Vegas Golden Knights Hockey Fan. Not much else matters other than that!
I encourage you to reach out and tell me your story, how can I help you start the next chapter in your life by helping you with the financing of your new home or investment property?
